Fashion Week Frenzy!

I decided a while back that I would be a good blogger and publish a post at the end of every day of Fashion Week Australia. Just a quick summary of the day, the fabulous things I saw, who I hanged out with, nothing that big or time-consuming. How wrong I was. It is now not the end of the day, but the beginning of a new one. It's currently 1:30am, which I understand isn't that late at all but when you have woken up at 5:30am that morning and plan to wake up at 7am the following day/today it leaves you feeling a bit exhausted. My arms hurt from carrying around four bags (don't ask) and my feet have so many blisters. But why am I telling you all this useless shit information? Well I tend to get annoyed at myself when my posts lack much writing. I am not one to unleash a massive torrent of pictures without saying much. But this time I have given in. The text to picture ratio is like seeing me in sweatpants or at the gym. Very unlikely/non existent.

Caution: This post is raw, unedited and written deliriously in the wee hours of the morning. If you read something that slightly doesn't make sense please don't send me hate mail. It'll just make me comfort eat, and it's currently fashion week and that's just mean.

OMG B'BOY :O:O:O FANGURLLLL with Yan
Christopher Esber Shirt
Dolce and Gabbana Jeans
Yves Saint Laurent Boots
This is my day one outfit. And as you can see unless you are distracted by that stunning face and didn't look at what I have on, I am wearing a floral ensemble, consisting of one floral top and pants. I attempted to track down floral shoes to overkill the floral theme but I could find any within my price range. So you have a water-downed version of what I hoped to be wearing. Maybe I'll photoshop some floral patterns onto those boots and then we can both pretend that I wore an amazing, head to toe, floral outfit.
I also thought it would be less embarrassing taking outfit photos if we pretended to be tourists in front of the Harbour Bridge.
Yay for Florals not in Spring!

These jeans were actually really, really, really cheap. I was over the moon when I found them on some sale rack at the back of some boutique! They were the most unflattering cut though. Think dad jeans but worst. Thank god for tailors.

STREET STYLE

So because no one wanted to take fabulous pictures of me, probably due to me not having floral shoes, I resorted to being a street style snapper! If you can't get street snapped then you might as well join them! And yes I tried the mobile phone, zebra crossing, haute couture gang and car thing. Still did not work :(

If you haven't closed the web browser yet and you are still with me, I would love to know what you think of the photos and massive photo dump! Do you want to see more/less photos/more photos of my face. And are you guys proud? I took all these photos by myself <3 So don't go thinking Lola suddenly went retarded and couldn't take quality photos any more.

And remember if you can't get enough of me, I am also on twitter! So follow my tweets guys! @ColourMeDang

  6. Hahahaha, you are such a funny, delightful creature. You look fabulous in the floral - I didn't even know that there were floral lines available for men! Clearly, you have proven me wrong. ;)

LOVE all your photos - drooling at all the Aurelio Costarella images ... I saw one of his shows in Brisbane Fashion Week last year (nowhere as lovely as the Sydney version) and his collection was breathtaking.

Can't wait to read all your Fashion Week updates!

Sending lots of hugs and sunshine from the Gold Coast!
